Error :
mysql> SHOW MASTER STATUS;
Empty set (0.00 sec)

Soluton :

#touch /var/lib/mysql/mysql-bin.log

#vi /etc/my.cnf
log-bin = /var/lib/mysql/mysql-bin.log

save and exit.

#service mysqld restart
#mysql –u root –p    (login in mysql and run command)
mysql> SHOW MASTER STATUS;
